AI Produced
Productivity Tools

A growing toolkit of small, practical productivity tools – built by me, using Ai, to solve the kind of everyday frustrations that quietly eat up time across a design team. Figma plugins, image croppers, format converters, automations: each one designed to take a repetitive task and make it disappear, so the team can spend more time on the work that actually matters.

The Project

As a designer rather than a developer, the idea of building functional tools from scratch would once have been out of reach. But with the latest generation of Ai coding assistants – Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and the like – the gap between "I wish this existed" and "here it is" has narrowed dramatically. Every tool in this collection started with a real, recurring pain point: a clunky workflow, a tedious manual process, a job that should have taken seconds but took ten minutes. From there, I worked with Ai to design, build and refine each tool – plugins for Figma, image cropping and processing tools, format converters, small automations – and then shared them out across the design team to make everyone's day a little easier.

The Result

What started as a personal experiment in "can I actually do this?" turned into a small but genuinely useful toolkit that the wider team now relies on. More than the tools themselves, the project shows what becomes possible when designers stop treating Ai as something happening to the industry and start using it as a creative collaborator – one that lets a non-developer build, ship and improve real software. It's a glimpse of a new kind of design practice, where the line between thinking it up and making it work is shorter than ever.
